P.H.A.S.E. 1 Academy is excited to announce their first-ever basketball Training Center, set to take place December 17 to 19 at GC Foster College in Spanish Town, Jamaica.
As the Center aims to be a results-oriented, centralized hub for basketball resources and talent in Jamaica over its duration, with the goal of accelerating the development of athletes, coaches, and game officials, it will be packed with intensive and strategically designed programmes to achieve those objectives.
The three-day event will feature training sessions, workshops, and other activities led by experienced coaches and players. More specifically, there will be a focus on Athletic Training, Skill Development, Nutrition Mentorship, Injury Prevention, Coaches Development, and Referee Training.
Daily, beginning at 10 a.m. and ending at 1 p.m., the center will host try-outs for boys (ages 13 to 17) interested in joining the Phase 1 Academy Club. Then, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., an open Women’s Development Programme will take place, which will be followed by the men’s pro E1CBL Training Camp, which will run from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The training Center is an important step for P.H.A.S.E. 1 Academy, which has long been dedicated to promoting the growth and development of basketball in Jamaica. By bringing together some of the best coaches and athletes in the country, the training center will provide valuable opportunities for learning and improvement.
Attendees of the training center will benefit from access to top-level coaching, as well as the chance to learn from and network with their peers. The event will also offer a unique opportunity for coaches and game officials to hone their skills and stay up-to-date on the latest techniques and strategies.
In addition to benefiting individual athletes and coaches, the training center will also be a boost for basketball in Jamaica as a whole. By providing a central hub for the sport, P.H.A.S.E. 1 Academy is helping to foster a more cohesive and interconnected basketball community in the country.
P.H.A.S.E. 1 Academy is excited to host their first basketball training center, and is looking forward to supporting the continued growth and development of basketball in Jamaica. The training center is open to athletes, coaches, and game officials of all ages and skill levels, and is sure to be a valuable and enriching experience for all who attend.
The aforementioned events represent just another step in P.H.A.S.E 1’s pioneering efforts for basketball in Jamaica, and all come in the wake of the recent announcement of the group’s Winter Season, which will introduce an impressive core of international and local players into the E1CBL, beginning in January. Stay tuned.
